What we collect

When you use Start Labs, we collect:

• Account information: Email address and name when you sign up.
• App data: The prompts you submit and the apps we compose for you.
• Usage data: How you interact with the builder and studio (message counts, features used).
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information for security and debugging.

How we use it

• To build and host your apps.
• To enforce usage limits and prevent abuse.
• To improve the product (aggregate analytics, not individual tracking).
• To communicate with you about your account and apps.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data to third parties.
• We don't use your prompts to train AI models (unless you opt in).
• We don't share your app code with anyone.

Data retention

Free tier apps are deleted after 7 days of inactivity (with 24-hour warning). Paid apps persist as long as the subscription is active. You can export your code at any time on paid plans.

Your rights

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings. Contact privacy@startlabs.ai for any privacy-related requests.
